There are still three import-player spots to be filled by EV Zug in view of next season. One of them is designated for Dennis Everberg.

"We have talked to each other about a contract extension and have signalized mutual interest. But Everberg still has two or three things to clarify," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy tells Zentralplus.

When asked about whether it is a question about money, Kläy denies: "No, it's not about money. It's like I said before. I also don't think that Everberg is competing with a National League opponent."

The 27-year-old joined Zug on a one-year deal from AHL's Manitoba Moose in mid-November last year. He recorded 28 points (twelve goals, 16 assists) in 31 regular season games and added two assists in the two playoffs games ever since.

Except David McIntryre's contract, which is valid for one more year, the contracts of forwards Garret Roe ((USA)), Brian Flynn ((USA)), Dennis Everberg ((SWE)) and Carl Klingberg ((SWE)) are set to expire at season's end.
