The older brother of Rapperswil's Melvin Nyffeler is going to take up practice with EHC Biel today. The 26-year-old joins them from HC Ajoie, who dropped out of the Swiss League playoffs with a 1-2 loss in Game 7 of the quarterfinal series against HC Thurgau a week ago.
In the seven games of this year's playoff campaign, Nyffeler posted a goals against average (GAA) of 2.52 and a save percentage of 90.69%.
