Team manager Sven Leuenberger says that the defenceman will stay with them.

Having their season come to an end this weekend, the ZSC Lions are mostly done with personal planning for the next term, as the NZZ writes. One of the question marks was Tim Berni.

The young defenceman signed a one-year contract including an option for another year last June, which will apparently be activated, as Lions' team manager Sven Leuenberger mentions that the Columbus Blue Jackets sixth-round draft pick will still play for Zurich in the upcoming season.
