Genève-Servette HC's equipment manager Aurélien Jimmy Omer thanked Daniel Vukovic in a message on Twitter (first picked up by SwissHabs), with that inadvertently confirming that the defenseman would not return to the shores of Lac Léman next season. The tweet was also retweeted by Vukovic's teammate Noah Rod.

Vukovic was not able to play the entire season this year, as his knee injury required surgery, thus keeping him out of the lineup for the remainder of the season.

The defender, who joined the Grenats in 2008, recorded 24 goals and 71 assists in 551 National League games for GSHC. This season, he put up two assists in 37 games.
