Laurent Meunier, Jonas Holøs, Sebastian Schilt, Sandro Forrer, and Jim Slater all played their last game for HC Fribourg-Gottéron last night.

While Meunier is set to retire, Holøs (?), Schilt (SCL Tigers), and Forrer (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers) will move to different teams. As for Jim Slater, back in February, he told the Freiburger Nachrichten that he was thinking about retiring at the end of the season.

However, it is not yet clear whether Slater really played his last professional game yesterday. HC Fribourg-Gottéron only confirmed in their season-end recap that he would no longer play for them next season.

The Dragons also handed out their team awards yesterday. Reto Berra was named the team's MVP, Jim Slater their best forward, Holøs their best defenseman and Laurent Meunier their most deserving player. Michel Volet, who will no longer be HCFG's president next season, received the award for the "emblematic figure of the club".
