In addition to other, already known departures, some more players will not be part of the team next season. Roland Gerber retires.

No Tiger in the future: Aaron Gagnon

As the SCL Tigers' team manager Marco Bayer tells Radio neo1, the goal in preparation for next season would be a rejuvenation of the team, to bring in fresh blood and a change on the import positions. Part of that change is parting ways with Aaron Gagnon. The Canadian forward will have to leave Langnau after two years.

Eero Elo's departure was already speculated on in the last few days, as he is reported to have signed with Liiga's Lukko Rauma. Radio neo1 writes that the Tigers confirmed the Fin having signed a two-year deal with a team in his home country at their end-of-season event.

Other players will also not be back for next year. Already known not to receive a new contract or having struck a deal with another team are Aaron Gustafsson (EHC Biel), Nils Berger EHC Visp), Emanuel Peter and Thomas Nüssli. Simon Kindschi will stay with EHC Kloten. Stefano Giliati, Viktor Östlund and Mikael Johansson will all have to leave as well.

Last but not least, after over 850 games in Switzerland's two top leagues, forward Roland Gerber is announced to retire from professional hockey.
