The newspaper reports that Vicky Mantegazza, president of HC Lugano, spoke with the former head coach of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds before the final of the Swiss League championship, with the intention to discuss again once it was over. Pelletier, 53, is looking for a new professional challenge after two seasons with the HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.

The Swiss-Canadian started his coaching career in Lugano with the U20 team, and later joined HC Lugano as an assistant coach, winning the Swiss championship in 1999. After experiences as head coach in Fribourg and Ambrì, where he also held the position of team manager, he joined HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss League.
