The club took advantage of the option in the contract of the US-Canadian defenseman, who will therefore remain one more season.

HC Lugano, during today's press conference, announced that Taylor Chorney will remain one more year. Chorney arrived this season in Lugano in what is his first experience outside North America. The club has now four import-players under contract for the 2019-20 season, the other three being Jani Lajunen, Linus Klasen and Maxim Lapierre.

Chorney, 31, scored five goals and put up 20 assists in 52 National League games with the Bianconeri. In his career, he mostly played in the AHL - more than 400 games - and in the NHL (178 games).
