According to Fantiger, the Tigers and the 30-year-old defenseman have agreed to terminate their contract with immediate effect.

Flurin Randegger's contract with the SCL Tigers would have been valid for another season. In early February, however, it became clear that the 30-year-old was no longer welcome in Langnau and that he would have to find himself a new team in spring.

As Der Bund wrote about a week ago, Randegger's next stop could be Rapperswil. According to the report, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and the defenseman are close to an agreement. With his contract in Langnau dissolved, Randegger is free to sign somewhere else.
