HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager will meet the young defenseman in the upcoming days and discuss his future.

Dubé would like to count on David Aebischer next season.

According to Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten), Dubé aims to convince David Aebischer to return to Fribourg in the upcoming season. However, he also admits that he does not know yet what the 18-year-old's plans look like.

At the beginning of January, Aebischer told La Liberté that he was planning to wait until the NHL Draft in June before taking a final decision about his future.

David Aebischer still has a development contract with the Dragons in place for the upcoming season. This season, he suited up for the Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL, for which he appeared in a total of 64 games (four goals, 27 assists).
