Leuenberger was not willing to disclose to the newspaper how much longer those discussions will last. When asked about what kind of requirements the new coach has to bring to the table, the team manager remained tight-lipped as well: "It has to be someone where one knows that he is the boss."

The Neue Zürcher Zeitung also offers up a list of names who could potentially be of interest to the Lions: Ralph Krueger, Rikard Grönborg, Marc Crawford, Hans Kossmann, and Michel Therrien. With the exception of Therrien, all of these people have already been mentioned by several news outlets as potential candidates for the ZSC Lions' vacant head coaching position.
