The American forward leaves EV Zug, who had made an offer to extend the contract, and joins the Lions until the 2020-21 season.

"Garrett Roe is one of the best playmakers in Switzerland and has always proved his productivity at all clubs," says team manager Sven Leuenberger. "He will bring passion and energy into the ZSC Lions' game." Garrett Roe, Fredrik Pettersson, and Maxim Noreau are the three import-players under contract with the Lions for the next season.

Over the course of two seasons, the 31-year-old recorded 100 points (30 goals and 70 assists) in 93 games with the Bulls. Moreover, this year, Roe won the Swiss Cup and became vice-champion of Switzerland as the topscorer of the playoffs (17 points in 13 games).
