Pontus Widerström may not stay with EVZ's organization

In May, the Luzerner Zeitung reported that EV Zug and Widerström were in negotiations. As the same source reports now, it is unlikely that the Swede will stay with the team. According to team manager Reto Kläy, it might even be possible that they will acquire an import defenseman for the EVZ Academy.

Kläy also reiterates that David McIntyre will stay with the team: "It is well known that we were not satisfied with him last season. But I can only repeat myself: the current status is that he stays with EVZ." In 39 games for the Bulls last season, he recorded eight goals and 17 assists.
