Vincent Praplan: "I didn't get any offers from the NHL"

"I didn't get any offers, actually," the 25-year-old explains. "The organization of the Florida Panthers decided to take a different path." As a consequence, Praplan will not even be back with the Panthers' AHL-affiliate, for which he played last season. "Sure, I was hoping to make my way overseas. But I'm not disappointed."

Vincent Praplan has signed a four-year contract with SC Bern. "This is not self-evident and shows that those responsible believe in me," he says. "It is clear that you always have to win in Bern. I'm certainly looking forward to this pressure and hope that I can show people what I've got."
