The club wants to talk to the City of Zug about the capacity of the Bossard Arena, EVZ's CEO says in an interview with the Zuger Zeitung.

Could play in front of a bigger crowd: EV Zug.

"Today, we could easily fill an arena with 8,500 to 9,000 seats," Patrick Lengwiler says, asked about the popularity of his team at the moment. The reality, however, looks different: EVZ's current arena, the Bossard Arena, only has a capacity of 7,200.

Not being able to exhaust their potential in terms of spectators also means a loss of possible income, Lengwiler says: "We will have to talk to the city as owner of the Bossard Arena. The question arises as to whether the capacity can be optimised."

This season, EV Zug has sold around 6,000 season tickets and then stopped the sale, as usual. As Lengwiler explains, only 70 tickets for the seating area and around 300 to 500 tickets for the standing area will thus be available for their home games.
