According to the report from 20 Minutes, Christophe Stucki did apparently no longer fit into the new administrative framework of the organization. As the club writes in a statement, Stucki has "expressed his wish to regain his freedom to explore other opportunities" in the context of these changes.
Journalist Patrick Andrey (RTS), however, writes that Stucki's departure is unlikely to be a resignation, but that the club has actually fired him. According to Andrey, they already wanted to get rid of Stucki in summer.
It is the second time that Christophe Stucki leaves the club. The Grenats already let him go in 2016 after Hugh Quennec had found new investors. Stucki, a friend of team manager Chris McSorley's, then returned to the club in March 2018.
