The young netminder has signed a two-year contract with SC Bern.

Philip Wüthrich stays in Bern

Blick reported this week that EHC Biel had been looking at maybe acquiring Philip Wüthrich. The product of SC Bern decided, however, to stay in the capital city.

Wüthrich spent the last season playing on loan for SC Langenthal. He was an integral part of them winning the Swiss League, posting a 0.954 save percentage in the 15 playoff games they played. This season, he will also suit up for the Swiss League team.
