Jecker is a product of the Dragons' organization but never played for their first team. That will change as of next season. He will stay with the Dragons until the end of the 2021-22 season.

The defenseman is currently in his second season with HC Lugano. In 21 games for the Bianconeri this season, he has recorded three assists.

As for the rest of the team, Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) reports that Jérémie Kamerzin and Ralph Stalder have a good chance to receive a contract extension. Marc Abplanalp and Marco Forrer, on the other hand, might leave the team.
