Lausanne HC has announced that they will keep around their head coach Ville Peltonen for an additional two years. The 46-year-old is currently in his second season with the Lions, his first job as head coach after working as an assistant for SC Bern, in Finland's top junior league and for the Finnish national team.

"We are very content to keep following the path taken with Ville. We share a philosophy and a work ethic focussed on continuity", team manager Jan Alston comments the extension.
