The defenseman will stick around for an additional two years. Ralph Stalder, on the other hand, might retire at the end of the season.

A dragon: Jérémie Kamerzin
HC Fribourg-Gottéron

Jérémie Kamerzin has signed a contract extension with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, making him a Dragon until 2022. The 31-year-old returned to the club after three seasons (and two championship titles) with SC Bern.

In the National League, the defenseman has suited up for the already mentioned Bears and Dragons, as well as EHC Biel and Genève-Servette HC. All in all, he has made a total of 374 games in the highest Swiss league so far, recording 19 goals and 56 assists.

His fellow blueliner Ralph Stalder was also offered an extension, Pierre Schouwey (La Liberté) writes. However, the 33-year-old has declined it, stating that he will have to decide if he wants to continue his career or retire from professional hockey.
