The SIHF's sporting court has upheld the single judge's decision to issue a two-game ban for the forward.

Yesterday, Genève-Servette HC filed an appeal against the two-game suspension of Tommy Wingels. The Grenats' case has now been dismissed by te SIHF's sporting court. Wingels will thus remain suspended. Already having served one of the suspensions, the forward will again have to sit out for tonight's game.

The 31-year-old was suspended for a hit to the head of Lausanne HC's Joël Vermin on December 20. He was also issued a fine of CHF 4,000.-.
