According to Expressen, Frölunda's American forward Rhett Rakhshani as well as his teammate and fellow compatriot Ryan Lasch apparently both have offers from Switzerland on their tables. As for Lasch, who is already a known commodity in the National League after suiting up for SC Bern in the 2016-17 season, there is reportedly also interest from the Kontinental Hockey League.

The two players, who have been part of Frölunda HC for several seasons, led their team to the Swedish Championship and the Champions Hockey League title in 2018-19. In addition, Lasch was awarded with the SHL's Stefan Liv Memorial Trophy for the playoffs' Most Valuable Player (19 points in 16 games).

On another note, as Aftonbladet reports, there is another player potentially leaving the Swedish Hockey League for Switzerland: Skellefteå AIK's defender Jonathan Pudas. According to the same source, Pudas is supposedly in negotiations with a yet to be revealed Swiss team. The player himself, however, does not want to confirm this news: "Actually, I haven't talked to my agent for weeks. Me and my family are doing well in Skellefteå. There are great opportunities for us to stay here, too."
