"I am very happy that he will stay with us in the future," HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager and head coach Christian Dubé says about the forward. "Daniel has the perfect fighter's mentality and always sacrifices himself for the team."
With David Desharnais (), Ryan Gunderson (
), Viktor Stålberg (
), and now Daniel Brodin, Gottéron already has four import-players signed for the upcoming season. It seems, however, still possible that they will add a fifth foreigner, Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) reports.
In his first season with Fribourg-Gottéron, Daniel Brodin has appeared in 33 games so far, in which he recorded eight goals and eleven assists for a total of 19 points.
