The Dragons confirm that they have inked the Tigers' 30-year-old Canadian to a two-year contract.

From Tiger to Dragon: Chris DiDomenico.

After HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager and current head coach Christian Dubé called the news "absolutely impossible" about ten days ago, he now confirms it: SCL Tigers forward Chris DiDomenico will join the Dragons on a two-year deal next season.

"Chris is a talented player and a fighter," Christian Dubé says about his new acquisition. "He has played a dominant role in our championship for years. We are very happy to be able to count on his support in the future." With DiDomenico, Fribourg now has five import-players on their roster for next season.

For the SCL Tigers, Chris DiDomenico has appeared in 31 games this season so far and put up 29 points (eight goals). Currently, he is the Tigers' second-best scorer after Finnish forward Harri Pesonen.
