Harri Pesonen has been part of the SCL Tigers since 2018 and his current contract is still valid until 2021. Although first talks about a possible contract extension have taken place, the 31-year-old is in no hurry to sign a new deal, the Berner Zeitung reports. Apparently, Pesonen would like to keep his options open for now.

Head coach Heinz Ehlers is very happy to have Pesonen on his team. "He's a role model, a gift to us," he explains to the same source and calls his top scorer an "outstanding player". This season, Harri Pesonen has recorded 36 points (14 goals) in 36 games.
