According to the Nya Wermlands-Tidingen, the defenseman has an out-clause, which allows him to leave Davos until January 31.

Magnus Nygren: Back to Sweden or not?
Monika Majer / RvS.Media

It is Magnus Nygren's youth team Färjestad BK that apparently would like to lure him back home as soon as possible and has sent him a concrete contract offer.

It seems, however, as if the 29-year-old will turn down Färjestad's offer and not make use of his out-clause, the same source reports. Nygren himself just says to the Nya Wermlands-Tidingen: "I have no comments at this time."

Magnus Nygren has been with HC Davos since 2017 and is currently in his third season with them. This season, he has only appeared in 13 games so far, in which he scored one goal and added five assists.
