In SC Bern's current situation, also team manager Alex Chatelain faces criticism. CEO Marc Lüthi defends him, but only half-heartedly.

"It's true that Alex hasn't always been very lucky lately," Marc Lüthi says to the Tages-Anzeiger, when asked about criticism from media and fans, probably with the transfers of Miika Koivisto and Andrew MacDonald in mind. Nevertheless he supports his team manager - at least for now: "At the moment we don't feel the need to make any changes in that area."

With head coach Kari Jalonen gone, also Lars Leuenberger returns to SC Bern's coaching staff, as Hans Kossmann's assistant. But why not as head coach? Apparently, team manager Alex Chatelain was not part of that decision: "A board decision," Chatelain explains to Blick. And Marc Lüthi: "We came to the conclusion that the current constellation is the right one."
