With one netminder leaving towards HC Ambrì-Piotta, another one joins from EVZ Academy.

New Tiger: Gianluca Zaetta
EVZ Academy

As the SCL Tigers inform via press release, Damiano Ciaccio will leave the club in summer, dissolving his current contract which would have lasted for another season. He will join the Biancoblù. "I need a change of air and I am very thankful to the Tigers for complying with my request," the goalie states. The 31-year-old only made nine appearances so far this season, posting a .859 save percentage and allowing a bit under four goals on average.

Instead, Langnau has signed Gianluca Zaetta, a member of EVZ's organization. The netminder, who has mainly been with the Academy so far besides a few occasions of sitting on the bench in the National League, will be a Tiger for the next two years, starting in summer. "Gianluca Zaetta is a young and very talented goaltender. We are convinced that he will benefit tremendously from Ivars Punnenovs as well as from goalie coach Marc Eichmann and make progress," team manager Marco Bayer comments the addition of the 20-year-old.
