For the remainder of the season, SC Bern will be able to count on the services of Christian Thomas. With his KHL-team, Traktor Chelyabinsk, eliminated from playoff contention, the Canadian has agreed on a deal with the Bears.

The former second-round pick of the New York Rangers has been an AHL-player for most of his career so far, making 348 games (95 goals, 96 assists). In the KHL, the 27-year-old suited up 59 times, recording twelve goals and eleven assists.
