It is time again for the annual survey of Tamedia-newspapers in which the captains and coaches determine the best of the 2019-20 regular season.

Pius Suter, the first Swiss leading scorer of the National League since Damien Brunner, was elected the Most Valuable Player and Best forward by his peers. As for the best coach, Patrick Édmond, first-year National League coach, has been handed that particular honor.

Except for in the Best Defenseman category, where Tömmernes won by two votes over Maxim Noreau, the winners were pretty clear. The best results had Pius Suter as Best Forward (18 votes) and Dominik Egli as Rising Star of the season (18 votes).
