In order to move the Malley 2.0 to Basel, the investors will have to pay CHF 15 million for it. This is the price tag that the current proprietor has put on the arena.

To secure the purchase of the arena, a foundation shall be set up, the same source reports. Up to this point, however, also negotiations with the landowner of the Dreispitz have yet to take place.

Once in Basel, the capacity of the arena should be reduced from 6,700 spectators to around 300, so that there is room for a second hockey rink in the arena.
