Dario Rohrbach was signed two years ago by HC Ambrì-Piotta on the basis of a two-year contract that included an option for a third season. It seems now that this optional third season has become a new two-year deal. As there has not been any official communication from the club, the details of this new agreement are not known yet.
The 21-year-old had an unlucky season being able to play only ten games (four points) due to injuries. Last season, Rohrbach recorded five points in 21 games for the Biancoblù, as well as 15 points in 31 games with the HCB Ticino Rockets in the Swiss League.
