In an interview with the Berner Zeitung, Chris DiDomenico reflects on how and why his time in Langnau has come to an end so suddenly.

Chris DiDomenico explains himself.

Almost two weeks ago, the SCL Tigers and Chris DiDomenico part ways with immediate effect after the Canadian forward clashed with head coach Heinz Ehlers during practice. "He made statements that I could not accept, that I still cannot accept," the 31-year-old explains to the Berner Zeitung.

"I see no reason to apologize at all. I have no regrets. I wish no one harm in Langnau, on the contrary," the forward says. "This ending is extremely annoying, you could have solved everything differently, One shouldn't forget that I always gave everything for the Tigers, even after I signed with Gottéron."

Looking ahead, the Canadian forward wants to stay who he is, even with his new club HC Fribourg-Gottéron: "Ask Fribourg why they wanted to sign me. People know who I am. Sure, I'm trying to calm down. But I'm not the one to keep quiet. I want success."
