It is yesterday's news that Andrew Ebbett did not record enough points to see the clause in his contract activate for the following season. In fact, to reach the needed average of 0.75 points per game, the former MVP had to collect just four more points. Despite missing the target Ebbett tried to negotiate a new deal with a lower salary, however, SC Bern decided to go another way.

This situation, in addition to cause him stress during the season, left him disappointed: "With SCB I experienced the best time of my career. Bern is my second home. I'm disappointed our ways separate in this manner".

Despite the disappointment, Ebbett is already looking for a new club in the National League. It is his only option, otherwise, he will retire.
