The team manager of the Bianconeri is satisfied with the current coaching staff composed by Pelletier, Cookson and Di Pietro.

The 2020-21 edition of HC Lugano is still a work in progress.

In an interview with RSI, Hnat Domenichelli does not rule out the possibility of keeping the same coaching staff for the upcoming season. Serge Pelletier and his two assistants, Rob Cookson and Paul Di Pietro, were hired as replacements for Sami Kapanen and Stefan Nyman, who were fired a week before Christmas. According to the team manager, they did an "excellent job".

Domenichelli is not in a rush, however: "We will take all the time at our disposal to discuss and evaluate the options, also considering the budget. We will make the decision at a later date".
