With an abrupt end to the season due to the coronavirus, the organization of HC Lugano did not have the opportunity to honor and thank one of their players who was an important part of their team for the past two decades.

Vauclair made his National League debut in the 1997-98 season. Apart from three seasons in North America, the 40-year-old defenseman has only ever played for the Bianconeri in the National League. He played in 945 games for them, recording 114 goals and 193 assists.
