As revealed to 24 heures, Théo Rochette has decided to travel to Switzerland in order to train with professional players ahead of next season. Talking about the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, which has been recently postponed indefinitely, the 18-year-old admits that the early termination of the QMJHL championship is not good for him as he had only started feeling good from mid-January.

In fact, Rochette suffered from mononucleosis during the first part of the season and he was later traded from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens to the Québec Remparts, a move that required him an adaptation time. In 49 games with the two teams, he collected 39 points.
