Seeing his contract with Spartak Moskva run out, Patrik Hersley is currently attempting to land a gig elsewhere. As his agent states to hockeynews.se, they are looking for alternatives in the KHL, but Switzerland would also be an option for the Swede. It is not the first time the 33-year-old is interested in joining a National League team.

In his six years in the KHL, the defenseman put up 74 goals and 116 assists over the course of 340 games, with eleven of the goals and 15 of the assists stemming from this past season.
