Goaltenders Daniel Guntern (?), Joni Ortio (?) and Fredrik Pettersson Wentzel (?) as well as defensemen Tim Berni (Columbus Blue Jackets), Alexander Braun (GCK Lions), Topi Jaakola (?) and Dave Sutter (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) will no longer be part of the ZSC Lions' roster next season.
As Joni Ortio's agent Tomas Sjögren tells HockeyNews.se, they are now looking at the few opportunities that are available: "There are not many jobs left. We are mainly looking at the Finnish League, the KHL, and, if there is an opening, the Swiss league."
As for Pius Suter, a decision regarding a potential departure to North America is expected to be made, as of today, until mid-July. Should the 23-year-old forward leave the team, they might take a look at the market again.
