National League

The 28-year-old forward's contract with the National League team expired this spring but contained an option for the next season.

Oscar Lindberg
EV Zug

According to Zentralplus, it looks like Oscar Lindberg will accept an offer from a Russian KHL team and thus not return to Switzerland and EV Zug for the 2020-21 season. As Championat.com reports, the KHL-club in question is Dynamo Moscow. Reto Kläy, for his part, told the Luzerner Zeitung that nothing has been decided yet: "If there will be something to announce, we will do it in an official capacity."

Team manager Reto Kläy revealed on EVZ's website in early April that there was interest from both sides to continue their working relationship. At the time, however, the negotiations had to be put on hold due to the coronavirus.

As for Andreas Martinsen, the same source reports that it is unlikely that he will get a chance to stay with the National League. Especially since Kläy told Zentralplus in an earlier interview that it would be "reckless" of Martinsen to wait for EVZ if he had another contract offer on the table.
