Although Jacob Josefson's current contract with Djurgårdens IF is valid until 2022, his deal includes an out-clause, which allows him to leave Sweden until May 15.

Right now, however, it looks like Josefson is going to remain in Stockholm due to the current health crisis: "Given the state of the world, it would probably require a tremendously good offer for me to leave right now," he says to HockeyNews.se. "It does not feel like it will come under these circumstances."

The 29-year-old center returned to Djurgårdens IF in 2018 after eight seasons in North America (321 games in the NHL for New Jersey and Buffalo). This past season, he appeared in 30 games and recorded 16 points (five goals).
