National League

It is no secret that the National League team wants to acquire the 24-year-old forward for the upcoming season, but the deal is not yet done.

HC Davos

"Without the coronavirus crisis, the transfer would probably have already been completed," HC Davos confirms to Helsingin Sanomat. The transfer is currently being delayed because they are not able to hire new players at the moment.

Also, according to Russian website Business Online, Teemu Turunen is also of interest to KHL-team Barys Astana. It thus remains to be seen where the Finnish forward will end up.

The Südostschweiz reported back on March 18 that Davos would sign the HIFK forward "in the upcoming days". Obviously, that was shortly after the federal council had decided on the strict measures to stop the spreading of the virus and thus before clubs introduced short-time work and/or applied for federal loans.
