As Laurent Strawson, president of GSHC, tells the Tribune de Genève, the hiring of a fourth import-player depends on what will happen in the next weeks.

Linus Omark is rumored to be joining Genève-Servette HC.

Whereas Henrik Tömmernes ((SWE)), Daniel Winnik ((CAN)), and Tommy Wingels ((USA)) will surely be part of Genève-Servette HC's roster for the upcoming season, the signing of a fourth foreigner will depend on the financial situation. Soon the club will launch their season ticket holder campaign and activate the contacts with their sponsoring partners. That will give them indications whether they can afford a fourth import-player.

At the end of March, Klaus Zaugg (Watson) had reported that Linus Omark ((SWE)) had signed a two-year contract with the Grenats. Regarding the name of the fourth import-player, Strawson only comments: "If we were to sign with one more foreigner, we already know who he would be." It is clear, however, that Eric Fehr will definitely not stay with GSHC.

Moreover, Strawson seems to put an end to the rumors regarding an early departure of Tanner Richard: "Richard knows he can give more than last season. He's a proud player and we have total confidence in him to really come back the leader he needs to be on the ice."
