Koch is developing a concept based on the guidelines of the Canton of Berne.

Only seats in the Tissot Arena?

As EHC Biel's Daniel Villard discloses to the Journal du Jura and the Bieler Tagblatt, the club is participating in the development of the new concept as it would "make no sense for everyone to work in their own corner right now." The Berner Zeitung reported two weeks ago that SC Bern had enlisted the help of Koch.

While EHC Biel has not gone too much into details, for now, they have also started to think about different scenarios for the start of the season. Like SC Bern, they are considering to put seats into the standing room section in order to guarantee social distancing.

The Tissot Arena standing room area has a capacity of 1,500. If one were to put seats in for the next season, it would be reduced to 640. That is, however, only one of the possible scenarios.
