"We are pleased that Teemu has chosen HC Davos despite some other offers from Sweden and the KHL," HCD's team manager Raeto Raffainer comments on his new signing. In Davos, Teemu Turunen has signed a one-year deal.

Already in mid-March first reports had surfaced that Turunen was expected to join HCD. But, as the club confirmed to Helsingin Sanomat about a month ago, the Covid-19 pandemic delayed the transfer.

In the past season, the Finnish international was IFK Helsinki's top scorer with 20 goals and 31 assists in 43 games.
