Ivars Punnenovs: where will he play in 2021?
"Even if the chance should only be 1 percent, we will try everything within our power [to keep him in Langnau]," the SCL Tigers' team manager Marc Eichmann tells the Berner Zeitung. Ivars Punnenovs himself is not yet worried about his future. His agent Dani Giger also confirms that they have not yet negotiated with anyone, as they "are not in a hurry".
As for their import players, Marc Eichmann states that they might look into acquiring an import defenseman for the upcoming season. Currently, Robbie Earl is the only import player the SCL Tigers have under contract for the 2020-21 season. He is still in the USA as he cannot enter Switzerland at the moment. However, he seems to have recovered from his head injury.
