Contrary to what was reported at the end of May, the Canadian will not leave the club and has signed a new one-year contract instead.

Eric Fehr is back with GSHC for another season.

With the re-signing of Eric Fehr ((CAN)), who therefore remains for a second season with Genève-Servette HC, the Grenats have completed their package of import-players, the other three being Linus Omark ((SWE)), Henrik Tömmernes ((SWE)), and Daniel Winnik ((CAN)).

Team manager Chris McSorley is convinced that Eric Fehr will again have a great impact on the club, as he had last season: "We are very pleased to have Eric Fehr with us for another season. Eric was an extremely important person in the success of the club last year. He has helped our attack a lot, not only as a great player on the ice, but also as a leader with our young players."

Last season, the 34-year-old forward scored 15 goals (third-most in the team) and put up 19 assists in 44 games with the Eagles. Moreover, he won the Spengler Cup with Team Canada.
