Jiří Novotný remains in Ticino for one more season.

Whereas the new contracts of defenseman Karim Del Ponte and goaltender Viktor Östlund will be valid until the end of the 2020-21 season, Jiří Novotný agreed on a deal valid until the Spengler Cup. The club has then the option to extend the contract furthermore until the end of the season.
Del Ponte already played the whole last season with the Rockets, recording twelve points in 37 games. For his part, Östlund suited up 17 times with the Rockets and three times with HC Ambrì-Piotta. Due to an injury, the Czech forward played only eight games with the Biancoblù, collecting three assists.
