"I can say that I am at a good point in the negotiations with a new forward," Domenichelli states. But he also adds that their budget is currently rather tight: "Our fans must not forget that the coronavirus pandemic has reduced the available budget to operate on the market."
Although HC Lugano already has four import-players on their roster, only three of them are healthy. The Finnish forward Jani Lajunen will be out at least until the first international break. "And we don't know in what condition he will be after that," Domenichelli says.
As for forward Philipp Kurashev, the Corriere del Ticino writes that he has actually committed to Lugano and that they are expecting the green light from the Chicago Blackhawks this weekend.
