"Daniel is a very combative, gritty player, a great worker, very dangerous in front of the goal," team manager Hnat Domenichelli says about his newest addition. Carr will join the team as soon as the paperwork is done, presumably around mid-September.
In the past two seasons Carr mainly played in the American Hockey League. In the 2018-19 season, he was elected as the AHL's most valuable player after recording 83 points (35 goals) in a total of 67 games for the Chicago Wolves.
Over the course of his career, Daniel Carr also appeared in 111 games in the NHL for the Montréal Canadiens (94 games), the Vegas Golden Knights (6), and the Nashville Predators (11).
